Back at the end of May 2017, I finished the preparation of the bus for painting.  This meant taping anything I did not want to get paint on.  It was tedious, annoying, and required a big ladder.

Just prior to the project I had purchased an airless High Volume Low Pressure sprayer kit for use in painting a house.  The unit was listed as being usable for all paints, so I thought, why not?

Armed with my 5 gallons of high gloss black enamel paint, my sprayer, and 100 feet of extension chord, I painted the bus.  Up and down the ladder, while moving down the bus had its own challenges, and my anxiety about losing daylight caused me to rush in a few places.  That said, for my first effort at painting, not too bad.

Overall, I am VERY pleased with the result, though She will very likely need a second coat … uh, maybe.  Sadly, I got lazy, and the sprayer ended up a total loss from my not getting it clean soon enough.  Live and learn.

The end result, now with all the tape and plastic removed … she’s awful perty now!
