Installing the liner for the pond was problematic at best, because of the sharp edges of the metal cross members. That said, while it was tedious, being patient paid dividends in maintaining the integrity of the liner.

At this point, I needed to install the grow cylinders temporarily in order to find out just how high the liner needed to come.  As water will be dripping down these tubes, I needed to protect the wood behind from getting moist, and moldy.

With the cylinders in place, the liner could be completed, and the grow box frame built. Then, the bottom and front boards are installed, then the liner for the first grow box is put in place.

Now the first grow box, and its associated grow cylinders are in place.  There will be four of these grow box assemblies to allow staggered plantings, i.e. off-set growing cycles.  Theoretically, I hope to be able to see ready-to-harvest food approximately every 4 weeks.  (naw, I’m not ambitious … not mee!)

I’ll be completing the other grow box, and installing some interesting plumbing next time.
