Running extension chords to the generator was such a chore, especially when trying to run lighting as well as the power tools, so it became necessary to get the distribution panel installed, AND as I have been working on the insulation, get the wiring in place before closing the walls.
Got the box at Home depot that was just the ticket. With a maximum of 6 circuits, using the slimline circuit breakers, and a maximum rating of 100 amps, it is probably more capacity than I will use, but hey, it was the smallest I could get easily.
I mounted it in the wall, up front so I’d have easy access when entering the bus, and the benefit of light from outside. Also, it ends up resting almost directly above the Generator bay, which made connections much simpler.
I’ll finish getting the outlets and lights installed soon!
Woo-Hoo, almost just like home!
